Disney Cruise FAQ
What Information do I need in order to book a Disney Cruise?
First of all, you need to know which cruise you want to book, including the itinerary, departure date and travel party. Then you need to let us know some travel details, including booking air travel with your cruise. Next you let us know your preferences for dining, special requests and vacation insurance.
At this point, we'll have everything we need to give you an accurate quote. Now you may reserve this cruise by putting down a deposit or paying in full or you may choose to save your itinerary information to book later. (Note: We cannot guarantee that the specific offer details will still be available at a later date.) Finally, in order to best serve your needs, we'll collect specific information about each member of your travel party.
Make sure to read the Terms and Conditions.
Why Does Disney Cruise Line need birthdates for each member of my travel party?
Disney Cruise Lines requires birthdates to ensure that they provide the best possible services to each and every guest. They use birthdate information to determine elgibility for onboard venues and activities. (such as Disney's Oceaneer Club and Lab for Kids, Flounder's Reef Nursery for babies, and Vista Spa & Salon and Palo for adults) as well as onshore excursions.
How far in advance should I book a Disney Cruise?
Booking early is always the best way to get a great price and your choice of available staterooms. For the best prices, we recommend you book one year in advance. Special cruises and iteneraries, as well as our Category 1 and 2 suites, tend to sell out quickly.
What is the best time of year to sail?
Summer and holidays, including spring break, are the most popular periods. (And most expensive.) If you prefer these periods, it is recommended that you book the vacation a year in advance for the best price and stateroom availability. If your schedule is flexible, sailing during non-peak periods (such as the fall) offers a great value. AS ALWAYS, THE FURTHER IN ADVANCE YOU BOOK THE BETTER THE PRICE.
How do I choose a stateroom?
Consider the stateroom that best suits your needs and budget. All Disney Staterooms are designed with the family in mind, providing substantially more space for relaxation than you'd find on most other cruise ships. Disney's staterooms can accomodate 3,4, or 5 guests and must include at least one adult.
Disney's Inside stateroom offer uncommon spaciousness. Disney's Oceanview Staterooms offer views of the ocean from a large Picture window. (Category 9 Oceanview Staterooms have two smaller windows) Disney's Veranda Staterooms have private exterior balconies. And Disney's Deluxe Family staterooms & Suites are able to accommodate larger families.
